As the developer of Tomahawk Maps, Australia’s leading geo-mapping data platform for schools, we’ve noticed the increasing awareness and interest from school marketing and enrolment teams in handling and collating data to assist in confident decision making.
To ensure the interest in these tools is put to best use, we have produced a practical workshop covering Data-driven Decision Making for Schools.
The aim of the workshop is to provide a greater understanding of the available statistics and demographics, and to introduce a more data-driven decision-making process within schools for the targeting of new enrolments and in maximising retention rates. The workshop starts with a deep dive into statistics and demographics, followed by a walk through of the questions a school would be seeking to answer, subject to their lifecycle stage. We move through by highlighting the data available for school decision makers, including how to properly collate and present this information.
The free workshop is written for school enrolment and marketing teams who recognise the need for strong data to aid their decision making, but who are unsure about how to make a start.
Although we will cover use of the Tomahawk Maps information platform, the workshop will explore a range of other data sources, ensuring you are in a better position to introduce the processes for continually monitoring the composition of your primary and secondary catchment areas. The workshop can be delivered online or in person and is not limited to those with a Tomahawk Maps subscription.
