ACARA, the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority, has an obligation to collect, analyse and report statistical and related information about schools and the outcomes of schooling, as required by the Education Council under ACARA’s Charter.

The school profiling information contains much valuable information to those operating in the schools and education sector. Among the information displayed within Tomahawk Maps includes historic enrolment numbers, staffing levels, funding scores and a link to each school’s website.

Although most schools will actively seek and obtain this information, retrieving the information using the Tomahawk Maps mapping platform is far easier than trawling through cumbersome formatted spreadsheet.

To access the ACARA data, simply click the ACARA 2021 checkbox from within the platform, and instantly your maps will be filled with coloured dots representing the 10,000 schools located across Australia. Right mouse-click any of these dots to query the location, and the dialogue box for the school will be displayed.
